I got it working thanks to Mr.Shizzy. :)
After a lot of trial and error i simply needed a new version of eloader.
Also, Harvest Moon works PERFECT!.
gpSP complete compatibility list project
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi everyone,
To face the upcoming questions about what game will work with the new builds of gpSP, i have decided to create a regulary updated list of compatibility.
For now, i have tested 300 roms, with gpSP 0.6. These ares roms number 300 to 600 from the well known list of gba roms (actually the last is about number 2200, i think...).
The compatibility list is coming with a system of notation... see by yourself.
Next week will come a new addition of 300 roms (number 1 to 299) .
Each time a new build of gpSP will be released, i will update the list, trying the previous non-working roms first .
Give me your opinion and if there is errors in the list, mail me at [email protected]. Please mail me only for the roms currently in the list, the others will come in the next weeks .
I must ask to the webmasters to allowed me to upload zip files, that contains of excel version of the list, please... it will be easier.
If you want to use the list and convert it into html for your website, please mail me. Thanks
now just a copy/past to see what information it contains
yes :the game is running
crash :crash with the well known blue screen "sorry but your psp has just crashed"
crash :screen freeze
sound : ooo=perfect ; oo=some scratch noises ; o= gives headaches
game : ooo=perfect ; oo=bugs but playable ; o=bugs and unplayable
frameskip = the configuration for the best gameplay/graphic/sound quality
Size (octet) - number - name Run Sound Game Frameskip commentary
great
Wow.. to think you've tested 300 roms.. That's.. that's... Err.. don't you have other things to do :D ??
Oh what do you feel if gpSP 0.7 released before you finish the test ? :D :D
I found some thing strange for the sonic advance series on this fantastic emu.
basicly when you load any one of the games up in 128kb mode all the levels and chaos emeralds are complete.basicly a level skip cheat.
Then if you load the the same sonic game up in 64 kb the game asks you for regestration.strange I know.
just thought I'd let you guys know.
try it out and see :)
Is it the emu or just my rom, where on pokemon Red, it slows down on random battle encounters? if im fighting a person its good speed, but slows down if its random in the bushes or somthing.
cool, im back, still in ecuador ¨sadly¨.
hey, cool program, im gonna try later :)
Ya, I've noticed that too. I've found that 0 fs is appropriate for walking around, 1 for trainer battles, and 2 for wild pokemon encounters. In Mt. Moon, however wild pokemon battles don't seem to slow down at all with 1 fs.Quote:

Have you try to change the saving option from automatic to exit only ?
no.. but how would that help? im just wondering, have you tried that?
hi
i have a problem and i was wondering if anyone could help
i cant get past the gameboy screen (the white one that you get when you turn un the gba)
maybe i have a wrong bios, but im not really sure
thanks
Sounds like it.
@dementia, I played Sacret Stones (oh.. a sweet 5 hours already) and notice there's a difference between battle turns if you set the saving to exit only.. I have Green-leaf, I'll try it myself later..
@saocore, you mean that rainbow/pinky coloured gameboy logo ? Were you trying to run the bios ? Don't. Just pick a rom you wish to play..
ur probably running the bios, try pressing RIGHT on the d-pad then DOWN on the d-pad to ur roms folderQuote:

hey guys i got a quick question that might sound retarded but im gonna put it out there anyways :p ive been playin pokemon emerald on my pc for sometime now and want to know if i can take my .smg save file from visualboy advance and some how convert it to gpSP .sav format any help would be very much appricated! thanks!
Anyone know when the next version will come out? I'm itching for bug fixes...especially the one in Zelda Minish Cap where shrubs/grass can't be cut down!
Dark Man- i doubt u can do that, but what you CAN do, is take an IN-GAME save. a .sav and put in with ur rom and play off that. as i do. also, what i did was, To cheat, i used that save and played the game, put in GAME SHARK CODES AND WHAT NOT.. then you sav. in game again. and put in ur game/roms and u can play with cheats. ...i felt like typing alot.
Dementia7- how do you use gameshark codes with the gpSP?? i've been lookin around for .sav of pokemon emerald but i cant find any which sucks. i kinda see wat ur sayin in a way but then u lost me with the gameshark codes which is wat i really wanna do :)
why do you like to use a gameshark?
i'm just curious :)
Cheat codes is for cheaters! :p
JK, I love to use cheats, but only after I beat the game (for some extra fun!) :)
yes, only after the game :)
come on guys is pokemon fire red! lol everyone and their mother has beaten that game several times lol
lol..treu, true
i wanna use gameshark cause i dont feel like training my damn pokemon its too much work...i remember the good old days when u had that glitch in pokemon red with the infinite item thingy with the missingno
yeah..good times..good times :)
its not hard, its just being clever ina way..i suppose. use VBA on ur pc. and save INGAME. the VBA pc has a built in gameshark/code breaker...ect. u enter the codes..and enable them. SAVE with the codes on. then transfer ur save to ur psp and thats its.
by the way, EVERYONES beat pokemon.. codes just make the game all the more fun. i only use the money and inf. master ball cheats.
i guess im kinda beat tho lol
I remember the days yet i think that is part of playing the game getting them to that level on your own.:DQuote:

you gotta re-name ur .sav to EXACTLY what your rom name is. weird.. i never had a problem going back and forth between the pc and psp emu.
im trying it right now... gimme a sec and i'll let u know what happens
ok i got my save file to load on the pc and loaded up the gameshark codes and i did an ingame save...now what ur sayin is just take that file and put it on my psp correct?
that sounds like alot of work man ;)
What pc emulator are you guys using to do these gameshark codes.
they are using VBA, i hope that helped :)
hehehe hey if anyone is awake not sure of the timezone but how would i go about fixing a courupt data file on my memory stick due to the gpsp.cnfg file?
you'll have to delete it using a homebrew application and the putting another one back in, i also heard that if you make it into a read only file, it wont get corrupted...not sure if that's true, but it's worth a try :)
