Hard Edge (PAL) = Works (try it on 3.10)
Not sure if this has been added but...
Gunners Heaven Jap works on 3.10 OE-A perfectly
Castlevania Chronicles: screen turns black when you lose at the end of level 2 or at level 3.
Game doesn't freeze as i can actually hear the sound going on it just shows nothing.
Tried on every pops version with no luck. Compressed and uncompressed.
Castlevania SOTN works great (i'm at 60 % of the first castle) compressed at level 9 with pops 3.10 or 3.11
Klonoa freezes with white screen right after you beat the last boss in 3.0x and 3.10, haven't tried 3.11 yet. it also random freezes when loading levels, but a reboot and save load will usually get past it.
Still haven't seen the ending of this game :(
Otherwise it played flawlessly.
Sim Theme Park(NTSC) = Works
How would you guys like to hear that I have compiled all 40+ pages of this list and doing a Popstation Compatbility site soon?
Well, the list is done but still adding more from other forums!
Yes I know, I have no life! ;)
Don't PM me on this YET please!
But... you can start the hype machine
I put some serious time this saturday on my Popstation site and now up to 700+ entries. That's without even touching SuperLinux's list, which I kept for desert. ;)
I only have to play with some PDF forms to set up the ADD-A-GAME and EMAIL sections. I don't want to get my email too easily in spam sniffers.
Anyhow, with a little luck, it should be done tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
Legend of Dragoon (all 4 discs) = Works perffectly
Tekken 3 = Works Perfectly
Tomba 2 = Works Perfectly
will certainly look forward to that.. should be a very useful resoure, although im a bit concerned that some peoples idea of "working 100%" isbnt quite the same as mine... lol...
ive been testing some PAL games with the new 3.10 custom fw - these are all fresh ccd .imgs from original disks with cdda as appropriate - ive verified any problems with epsxe.
game (compression used in brackets ie L9)
Championship Manager Quiz - FINE (L9)
International Karate Plus - FINE (L9)
Mission Impossible - DOESNT WORK, CRASHES AT START OF FIRST LEVEL.. VIDEO SKIPS LOTS AS WELL
Pandemonium! - FINE (L9)
Raystorm - SOME PROBLEMS WITH SOUND DURING VIDEO SEQUENCES, WORKS THOUGH
Sensible Soccer - SOME PROBLEMS WITH SOUND DURING VIDEO SEQUENCES, WORKS THOUGH
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - SOME SOUND DISTORTION DURING VIDEO SEQUENCES, WORKS THOUGH
Worms - HANGS AT START.. CANNOT SEEM TO PLAY ANY VIDEO INCLUDING THE OCEAN LOGO AT START
Yeh Yeh Tennis - FINE (L9)
- with the exception of worms and mission impossible these mostly work ok - playable in any case - there just seems to be some problems with sound being either distorted or messed up for some reason (some sort of timing issue? )but all things considered, very promising.. centring is also a LOT better with the new "zoom" mode, so good in fact that there doesnt seem any point in patching to NTSC any more...
All games ripped with UltraISO. Converted with Ice Tea 1.3- first compressed and then for the games that didn’t work I tried a second time uncompressed- compressed/uncompressed made no difference.

www...cybervolution...com///playstage
and you remove the extra caracters... (and no, I do not program SQL or other. :(
Have fun!
NB : I tried to reach Sony154 MANY times while doing this and box always full.
NB :

you should start a new thread to tell people about this if you havent already - be a shame if people missed it because it was buried on page 42 of this one.. :)
You did a really good job on that site man.
Cheers!
I started another thread for my site... I'll keep a look in this one for a while too, but use my site to contact me.
Thanks to everyone who posted here!
Deathtrap Dungeon (PAL) = Works
There are some audio problems but its ok.
NOTE : You can play this game on custom filmware 3.10 .
Crashes after PSX logo

-Metal Gear Solid VR Missions (NTSC)
-Crash Team Racing (NTSC)
Magic Carpet (NTSC) = works perfect
The smurfs (PAL) = Works
NOTE : Try it on custom fw 3.10 OE-A2
Might be new or old but Silent Hill is 100% Playable!
Though it sometimes freezes if you try saving at the same location on both memory cards (Slot 1 and 2)
front mission 3 works, but i keep getting crashes on some levels.
yokosuka base elevator lvl particularly, but it seems to crash whenever the battles last too long.
you can always do a battle save a few mins into it then load to solve taht tho.
3.03 oe-C
Here are the games I have tried:
Resident evil 1 (PAL)= Perfect
Oddworld: Abes oddysee (Pal)= Perfect
Resident Evil 2 (PAL)= Perfect, but crashes in the police station
More to come soon!
Monster seed (NTSC) = works perfect.
I find this page works better, since the page isn't hardcoded as an image, and anyone can add, since it's a Wiki:
http://www.gamerspress.com/index.php...atibility_List
Just checked Fluid out (old music game where you create tracks by swimming a dolphin about the screen)... got a copy of it that was a dual NTSC and PAL boot. Went the NTSC option.
EDIT:
This also seems like it was also called called Depth:

I went through hell to get worms ntsc for psx, and now it freezes. There will be more updated releases of popstation won't there? I mean, is it possible worms will ever work on psp?
wow...I'm not about to go through 43 pages to see if my game works...lol. But I just recently acquired Ghost in the Shell (EU)[PAL] and it freezes as soon as you start the first level and make your first movement with the red tank. I even converted it right with the whole PAL to NTSC perfect allingment. I'm using 3.03 OE-C popstation for the same numbered firmware.
I just wanna know if the American [NTSC] version gets stuck the same before I go look for it. Anyone?
Cheers!
NTSC- Guardian's Crusade works fine.
I never checked every page for it here..but it seems a bit rare.
I've scoured this thread recently to make sure a fix wasn't posted, but have the crashes associated with Digimon World 3 [NTSC-U] been fixed in any particular version of Popstation?
The crashes in question are black screens/sound freezes at certain doors, and a glitched "Underground Path" in Asuka City (black screen, glitched corner, cannot exit, yet menu works fine).
Abe's Exoddus (PAL) and Abe's Oddysee (PAL) - on 3.10 oe-a - Plays perfectly, no lag whatsoever.
Road Rash 1 - Works (sometimes crashes when saving)
Croc 1 and 2 - works
Kula world - works
trying to get breath of fire 4 to work. the image doesnt even show up under the game menu. breath of fire 3 works fine though.
i converted it from a .mdf file with magiciso but i cant seem to start it.
any help?
edit: is there a special way to rename the files? i have tried a few other games already and i cannot get my psp to show them under the game menu.
using 3.10 oe-a' on 1.50 FW
I think it would be a good idea to have all popstation.exe files for every compatible FirmWare version posted on the first post. I just lost mine due to a virus a few days back and it took a bit of searching to get them back.
Anybody agree with this?
The name of the directory you create should use the game's SLUS/SCUS number that is on the box of the game. i.e. SCUS00940. This solved some problems of games detected as "corrupt" in the PSP.
Using version 3.03 Popstation (from Dark_Alex regarding his OE BIOS) and up is incompatible with 3.02 and down since the do not need the keys.bin, etc. anymore.
Newer converter have enhanced compression (beginning at about march 2007). Use the latest PSX2PSP from King Squitter I think it's the most testes/compatible but I could be wrong. ;)
