Windows maps download tool for MapThis! by in7ane

Hello!
I am a Chinese user. GOOGLE map of China recently updated, very detailed in all aspects. GMDL positioning operation to China. Click Preview to see anything, and how to do ah. I tried GMDL0.5.09b \ GMDL0.5.10a will not work.

I'm having a similar problem as swkwwe except i'm just trying to use plain (non-chinese) google. Even that preview is not working for me. Only the Satilite setting does but again only for zoom levels 3-7.

All i care about is getting a normal map (never mind geodata for now). But the preview always shows up blank and not a single image is downloaded from google. The program DOES work for some of the other map sources such as yahoo for example...

any suggestions? maybe google changed something on there map site which broke GMDL...

i have the same problem with psyoptix when i preview, nothing shows up and when i try to download, no parts are downloaded. i copied the link of one preview image and pasted it to explorer. google error page came up and told me google has detected an automated something. so i figure google knows we download and it has blocked it.can someone help?

Are you using a translator?
Anyway, I having the same problem too, the GMDL cant work anymore.

iPhone screen can now convert maps to xGPS format - works with 1.2.7 - choose the (new) option

Goole Maps fixed once again (including for China)


I will try to get on to the remaining issues and questions in the near future.

Not sure if i'm using it right, but doesn't look like I can download the hybrid data for China (from the google.cn page). It seems to only support hybrid from google.com page, which doesn't have hybrid data in China.

how can i get maps from map24? there are no option to select it, do i need something else?
