yeah, i think Blu-ray is a very good format

never even seen a beta-max irl

it holds a lot, but the loading times are crap, framerate issues, the works. plus, im not ready to move to another format of movies yet, dvd looks good as it is

blue-ray is stupid and thats the bottom line

framerate issues aren't just Blu-ray, its porting a game from a unified architecture to a completely segmented one

blu-ray is actually very fast, its just the internet blew something an Oblibion dev said out of proportion and now everyone thinks otherwise

like i said, it was ported from a unified architecture to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ONE

it wasn't even scratching the surface of what the playstation can do, instead the dev's are lazy and make half arsed ports

while that's true that the ports are not fine-tuned, it's not really a reason to buy the system
