Ok, Maybe dumb question.

A friend of mine just bought a PSP with Firmware 2.81.

I know the downdater says 2.8 but my friend insists on asking:

Will this "2.80" downgrader work on a 2.81?

no, it won't work on 2.81

I cannot say how good it feels to downgrade, so thank you to everyone who has helped. Finally, the last time my psp was 1.5 i didn't even know what homebrew was. Time to try 3.02 EB :)
