lol i feel sorry for you guys that have to help out the noobs =P I really wish that people would take the time to read the readme files and posts...
-
Well I am one of those people who gave away their copys of GTA :(
-
hey jp,
i hope you're not targetting me as a "noob". i did everything the way i was supposed to except for one very small mistake that had i taken the time to look over very carefully i would have noticed even if i didn't post on this board.
it happens; big deal.

...and to answer your question. Yes, it's fine to update to the OE edition, just not Sonys. ;)
I never mind helping out, I need it half the time myself.
-
Blink it wasnt tword you you did everything fine and overlooked something. Im tlaking about those people who post " How do i do this" when this hs been explained 50 times in the thread and is answered in the first post and readme. But instead of reading they just go and ask questions. the difference is that you read it and tryed it so i didnt target you =P
sorry for confusion

this is great news , can't believe it was just a few days the hello world was able to run on 3.0+ firmware ...
-
Yea, hopefully I can find a copy of GTA by then, for those who downgraded:
Do those left over icons work? And for those who decide to stay at 1.5 will the newer update (mentioned in the readme) help those people?

This is truly amazing. I remember 3 months ago I told my friend, who is interested in PSP homebrew, that he had better look around on eBay for a downgradable PSP, because he might not find one in the stores...
And just yesterday I told another friend, who owns a PSP about homebrew and he wants to downgrade, but wasn't sure of his firmware. He didn't have it with it him so I couldn't help him, but its funny how the next day, we get a 3.03 downgrader.
Now it doesn't even matter what firmware he has :p.
Who woulda thought back in March of 05 that within nearly 2 years we'd have completetly and utterly bested Sony at every corner.
Today is a good day to be a proud member of the PSP homebrew scene.
