PSPTube: Watch YouTube on your PSP! [OUTDATED]

do you have custom firmware? if so

go to recovery menu -> configurations -> select gamefolder homebrew to switch the kernels

okay im running 3.03 OE right, and i put the psptube 150 folder in "game" while running 1.50 kernel. go to xmb, starts up and i connect, but it goes to "no video", freezes, and quits back to xmb. tried all kinds of combinations , what freaking psptube folder am i supose to put in which game folder running on which game kernel?

Deven, you fully shut off the PSP, then hold R and start up the PSP whilst holding R the entire time. Then go to Configuration, and you'll see something that says Game Kernel Mode or something like that. Pressing X switches it between 1.50 and whatever your custom firmware is.
You don't have to change the kernel, you can just make a GAME3## folder (## being the last two numbers of the firmware) and stick the file in there, though you'll have to rename the game folder every time you get a custom firmware update.

Fooob, you have to use the "200over" version and put it in either a GAME folder with a 3.03 kernel or a GAME303 folder. The 100 and 150 versions don't work on custom firmwares.



So what about the "Starting SearchThread..." problem? I'm not the only one who has it. PSPtube used to work perfectly, and now it won't work on either of my PSPs.

Broatus i did what you said, switched to 303 kernel and used the 200 over folder first in GAME, then in GAME303. both times it got past the gameboot, but then said "game could not be started". at least when i was on 150 kernel running the 150 version it actually started up and connected, what am i doing wrong?

Help, I freeze at the part where it lists which network setting you want to choose. It lists my choices, but i cant go up or down, it just freezes and shuts off
