if you look back in this thread, somebody else had that same problem... it is odd, maybe you could use the lua pixel fixer game, not sure if it works much. I used it and it makes it less bright.

hiya,
i've followed the guide but when i get to the downgrade it says 'already running version 2.0 no need to update'.
what have i done wrong?
make sure you leave the overflow picture on for 35 secs or more works for me
I am such a NEWBIE! Could someone please give me step by step instructions on how to even "Create an UPDATE folder in PSP/GAME/folder of your memory stick". Or should I put out a plea for someone in Bunbury, WA who has already downgraded their PSP 2.0 successfully to downgrade mine?
Hey guyz could u help me i upraded my ps to 2.5 and i am wondering how i could downgrade it to 1.5 . i tryed all those things and it didnt work for me. And i also need to know if i really need to downgrade to play emulaters. Thz so much if u could help me.
Peace Out!
okay... if you are beyond 2.0 you're pretty ****ed - but keep uptodate cause you never know if somebody makes something work.
and to make any "game" appear on the psp you put any folder in the rootX:/psp/game/ folder by plugging your usb cable to your computer and doing it simply in a file manager... c'mon it works like any usb flash device... the txt file is really self-explanitory, I hope you can figure it out.
sorry greendragon... and sorry vets for aiding to the needs of newbs ^__^.
just right click when ur inside the game folder and rename it to UPDATE sorted
Just try PSP 1007K can't downgrade....
no homebrew for you, phone up sony and say its faulty (i.e. dead pixels) and they send u the older model to ur door to swap with the courier (well thats what happened with my friend might be different now)
