Ive never had an issue with the cats on rapidshare, if they are harder to crack then use something similar if possible.

You could ask a few questions with obvious answers the user has to type: who makes the gameboy, what colour is a wii etc. I'm sure they can hire people to get past those but I don't know if bots would be smart enough to answer varying questions with exact single word answers.

i've nailed them every time, but it takes a minute or two to figure them out, but i guess that's why they're made..

those questions may not be such a bad idea, but it would be hard to come up with at least 100 of them...
and at the end there should be one of those hard captcha pictures or whatever they're called:D
