I was on their IRC channel for around an hour today chatting with some mods on there, and I can confirm that they cannot afford the forums anymore. They were drawing a TON of traffic and the expense just became too much, and something else to do with their government not liking how they advertised without permission from them. Alex is just waiting until a new firmware comes around that is worth the effort to make a new M33.
I have talked to dark_alex and he has said that he is indeed leaving the PSP scene to work in a different area.
I've been away from the scene too long...I actually read the title once and thought "I wonder who that is." Then I reread it and punched myself in the face.
