Cant wait to actually try the thing myself but i cant rush greatness.but wow,by the end of this year we will be playing ps1 games on our psp's,now how great is that?????????????????????:)

Now I could be totally wrong here, but wouldn't it make sense to wait for the Sony emulator and figure out how to either:

A - Get it working on 1.0/1.5 and get the games free.

or

B - Somehow rip the code and use it to write one for 1.0/1.5

Of course I don't code, and I'm sure there's some technicality I'm totally unaware of, but it's a thought.

awesome. i'm just worried about button arrangement. the PS controller has more buttons than the PSP, so how the translation is done is beyond me...

button mapping is easy enough, you just wont be able to use all buttons at once (say for example, dpad is maped to...dpad, analogue stick is mapped to left analoguw stick, facebuttons are mapped to...face buttons, L is maped to menu/rom selector, r is mapped to alternative buttons, so r+analogue stick is right analogue stick and r+face buttons/dpad is shoulder buttons)

as for making the official one work on a 1.0/1.5, it'll probably be impossible without decripting the firmware as it will probably need to load some files from the firmware to work just to stop people from doing that

We (the users) don't have the patience and I think the peogrammers also don't :p Do you prefer to play your games today or in some months? ;)

THAT is illegal and Sony COULD sue someone over that.
