Haha. If we are just talking about the gaming division, that statement is the COMPLETE opposite of what is actually happening. They lose money on each system (epsecially on the PS3 when it is released) that it is the only division in the company that makes a loss each year.Quote:

companies generally dont make money off of the initial system, mainly because of marketing and advertising costs, and the cost of making the system. the real money comes in software sales. thats why game piracy is such a bad thing.
