If you're going to edit your double post, then you could have deleated it too. I use my ipod for music, and psp for games and videos. I want to be able to have as much room as possibleon my psp, and if I spent 400 dollars on a 15 gig ipod, I'm going to use the hell out of it.
psp is garbage compared to ipod when it comes to being a media player, and yes i own both, sony shouldnt compete with a powerhouse if they could hardly sell it as a gamehandheld

The Ipod is best for music, the PSP can do more but isn't as good a music player.

Well I use my PSP alot more that my MP3 player infact just to make this more intresting I have a CREATIVE VISION M!! i dont need to convert and use Itunes, I do prefer my PSP over that though even if the PSP has got less memory space. But Who cares? Why not just buy another Memory card!. The way things are going we may have a large memory card around the corner. I already have a 4GB, 2GB and 1GB card.
Trouble is $ony dont seem to give a stuff about it this could be a case of to little to late.Their lack of support for the handheld may be one of the reasons for piss poor PS3 sales as well with people fearing $ony will do the same again.

Personally, my total mp3 collection doesn't exceed 500mb. For that reason, the psp is far better suited to my needs than an ipod. I'd never fill one of those.
I use my PSP as an MP3 player, and am quite happy with it. I wish they'd develop the interface a little more, but on the whole, I think it does a pretty good job.
Also, this article backs up a lot of what I was saying in the "Sony are not the enemy" thread, about Sony and their never-ending quest to control our media formats ...
