Itś better if you upgrade for 3.40 OE-A. Itś have the same capabilities of a 1.50 fw and the features of an 3.40 (except the Location Free Player)... the PS1 emulation is awesome ! Some homebrews like Basilisk 2 don't work until you switch the GAME folder kernel to 1.50 (it can be done in recovery menu), but its is a little nuisance compared with the advantages of this custom firmware.
But...some PS1 games have glitches with don't occurs in older versions of Dark_Alex's custom firmwares... check which version is better for you.
