ahh, then i think the limt is 9, all gasstation are 10 because he shows me only 9 of 10 gasstations.

i have extended the german poi icons again.

Gasstations: AGIP,ARAL,BP,ESSO,HEM,JET,SHELL,TAMOIL,TEXACO,TOTA L
Fasstfood: BURGER KING,McDONALDS,SUBWAY,PIZZA HUT
Banks: COMMERZBANK,DEUTSCHE BANK,EURO,POSTBANK,SPARKASSE,VOLKS/RAIFFEISENBANK
Markets: MEDIAMARKT,SATURN
and others: BALL,CASHGROUP,BAHN,POST,HOTSPOT,

nice to hear that my idea brings people up to design icons theirselfs.

Icons can be used by non-germans, too ;)

i have one question. Why isn't it possible to use different poi's?
i can select one poifile in time, but not two. it would be nice when
i create a route, and take a look for other pois too.

for example: i go from Hamburg to Berlin and want to look at a gasstation or radar

Workaround:
Put POIs and the Route in one file, POIs at first (haven't tested it with the Route at first).
It works on my PSP.

Possible to implement an option in MapThis to switch On or Off different POIs and/or Routes.

Here 3 Icons.
One for Geochaching, one for Route Start and one for Route End (Google's Route Icons).
Use "!IMAGE:route_start.png," instead of "!IMAGE:circle.png,"
and copy/move "!IMAGE:circle.png," before your second one,
and "!IMAGE:route_end.png," before your last waypoint.
It's not perfect because there is also MapThis's green bubble
at the end of the route and the route lines are over the icons.
But for me it's OK.

MapThis is THE Outdoor Killerapp for the PSP
(but there must be a better display from 3rd party)
