Yes, fast enpugh to run HD dvd......Maybe not blu ray due to the way the data are stored on them?

Hah. Considering a 5 pack of Blank Blu-ray discs will cost you 140 dollars, I cannot imagine too many people rushing out to buy a Blu-Ray burner.

OMG!!!!!!!! i was thinkin of buyin one so i could put loads of things on one disk likes movies ... back up my computer etc ... but no way am i payin that much just for blu-ray RW ...
