Awesome application, califrag! It's a shame the Go!Cam is almost impossible to get here in Norway, and the one shop I've seen that has it, sells it way over-priced. I will definitely get one, though, seeing your future plans. Thanks! :)
Also, I have a question: Will you be able to add your own web cameras in the future? That would be useful and cool. I would very much like to view cameras from my country, for example. Thanks.
(Yes, please stop with off topic questions, it's disrespectful. Take it in PSP Help forum.)
Thanks BlackRave for actually posting on topic! :) I would think that PlayAsia or SuccessHK would ship to Norway - I bought one from SuccessHK myself (in NA). In the future you'll be able to have a file called "camlist.txt" with a list of the URLs for your own cameras. Also, if there are any you would like to see permanently added to the program, just email me the link and I'll add it to the list (once I've tested it and make sure it is compatible). There are a lot of things that did not make it into this release, but will be in the next one.
Thanks for the reply, califrag! As I said, your future plans are promising. :)
Thanks for the site suggestions. PlayAsia doesn't deliver to any European countries, but SuccessHK / SuperUFO seems to do, and offers the camera at half the price seen in retail stores here, so that's good (though the item is out of stock right now). It's on my to buy-list.
I don't have any specific cameras I'd like added at the moment, but I will if I find any interesting. Thanks again!
I have just updated the first post with the skyPSP Webcam Server application (a new release) which turns your PSP into a webcam!
Check it out!
First of all, great app, works very well! Only 1 thing: it only boots in kernel 1.50, so it should be placed in game150 instead of game, or run with homebrew kernel 1.50. (At least on 3.51 M33 which i'm running atm).
ForcedToRegister - there are two different applications
The client application only boots on 1.5 kernel (right now), while the server application only boots on 2.7+ kernel (in this case set up for 3.52)
I know, i meant the client, i don't have a PSP cam yet.
Can anyone help me get this working on a server? I am having major problems, I tried in the past but failed. Qj forums suck at supporting things like this.
Great, been waiting a while for some G!oCam homebrew.
gonna have to try it out.
