Look at your connection, 1.5mb/s
That ends up being a download speed of about 187.5 MB/s
Take your connection speed, divide by 8, and that's how fast you should be able to download.
If you're still only getting 50KB/s downloads, you are getting gypped, I can get that with 256k
BUY WHY !!! why would they tell us that we have a 1.5Mbps connection when its really only 187Kbps ? why do they lie to us like that ?
Apparently if you get your broadband via your phone-line (ADSL, I think it's called) the further away from the exchange you are, the lower speed you get.
Whereas if you get cable broadband, you rarely suffer loss of speed.
I have Virgin Media cable broadband. I pay for 20mb and get like 18/9mb.
thats not bad its like 1/2 but even still i apparently have 1.5 but im only getting like 50Kbps !!!

dont forget that some serves were people download from usualy are slow and not real fast dont forget it could also be from the site you download from
and yes you can use xbox live with that tipe of connection
