im new to homebrew PSP games.....how exactly to i set this up to play on my PSP?
nm, i realized i had 2.7, so that wont work. I was wondering something. You have a version of this for the dreamcast and PSP, but not PC? It seems like a great game, but its not very accessible right now...
Well there is a PSP emulator for PC that plays only homebrew type games. Try that for Smash GP :D

ok, i found it. i needed to download a dll to get it to load. it opens but freezes on a blue patterned screen with " h" " on it. how do i get it to work?
There has to be a way to make this work with the eloader. I do not want to buy the undiluted platninum just to play this game.
Meh, the camera is whacked out, really detracts from playability. Unless theres some settings I can mess with.
Man it looks soo good too... i cant wait to have the kxploit open

Awesome news, none of you probably know me, but I got this game to work on my 2.6 PSP without screwing everything up. I replaced the 2.0 eboot file with the 1.5 eboot file version of the game while still keeping everything else 2.0. I went into Gta, started up the Eloader, and tryed entering the game. I reached the main menu part but when i tryed to actually start a round the game would freeze. To get around this enter the game through the eloader like normal, click quit on the bottom of the main menu, then enter the game from the E-loader again. There will be no sound this time but you can Hopefully start a round up and play the game. After a round the game will most likely freeze if you try to start a new round right away. To avoid this and having to restart your PSP after every round go to the Options menu in the game, then exit back out of the options menu and you can start up another round with out (hopefully) error
why don't u just downgrade and so u won't have to use eloader anymore and u can play the game without the hastleQuote:

Agreed TOAO, I actually believe this was the best Homebrew on PSP (Actually one of the reasons I downgraded in the first place) IMHO so overrated.

ther might be a problem with the smashpack. Every1 time i try to choose link it was shuts down my psp & riku icon for his life is like glitch or something cuz u see only bars.
I looked on a site i found this game downloaded it but every time its courrpt ps same thing happens with all emulation please help
First off, quit diggin up 6 month old threads.
Secondly, a little info about your psp would be helpful, for example:
What firmware?
What motherboard? (not as important as firmware)
What folder are you putting "emulation" in. (hint - it's called homebrew unless you are actually emulating a different system, such as game boy advance, sega genesis, etc...)
If you have never downgraded your PSP or are not running a custom firmware (NOT the ones from sony,) or you aren't using hen-d, then hombrew will not work for you.
I suggest you spend a day or two just reading on here, and absorb all the info you can.

If you can turn on your psp and you can do the usual stuff with it, then it's not bricked...

u can make it work on 2.xx fw using the origanal Eboot file
(works best using iR shell)
