i can only assume you're saying that being spring break the servers might get quite full  but they havent yet.
more testing, and imho these new settings are rubbish compared to the old ones.... the *only* good thing is the extra chat menu.
i'm now gonna sit here and try and make a super-hybrid of the two
I just imagined myself playing halo on the psp.....................
I see the list of four and i can go on to them, but it says the graphics will not load or something like that, so it is impossible to play. With me anyway, anyone else with the same problem?Quote:

What firmware have you? Just read the readme. Its so simple. Two steps and its in. Put the quake file that contains the id folder in the psp's game folder and then put the corresponding firmware eboot beside the id file in the quake folder.
ffs... have you tried hitting select on the eloader menu? it refreshes the eboot list you know.Quote:

I went back to the old configs and managed to create my own menu system for multiple preset chat texts in about 15 minutes (it's really not that hard if you have a look at the files in wordpad) - and now i can have as many chat messages as i like! - and that had been the only good thing about this release. (and no i'm not some quake-head who knew all the config stuff already - i hadnt played the game in 8 years until 3 days ago - and had never done any editing on it) i would do the same to create multiple server menu's too, but i really dont see the point when the ones on there are fine for me anyway.
i suppose it does include the shareware version at least, but anyone could download that from somewhere else anyway.
Great release dude, its made it alot easier to get onto a server. It does take a second though for my key presses to actually do something. Lag or something. Anyone else get this small problem. Cheers anyway dude.
Yeah i know what you mean. Although this can be fixed by overclocking the psp to 333. Still though the key presses in infrastructure mode have the lag. Maybe this will be improve in the next release. Then quake will be the best thing to load on the eloader. It really is a great port too.
ok, i have 2.0 and im getting the CL_CONNECT ERROR....can someone please post a link as to what i have to downlaod to get it to work. I made a new connection with the defualt name (Connection 1).
EDIT:::Finally got it working....
I connected to teh Shareware CTF server...but then nothign happens...it jsut sits at the connect screen, what do i do now?!??!?
Also, i cant join other server since i need the PAK1.PAK file....sucks
well i got it to work thank you for the help...
Def. one of the best things out so far for psp users with 2.6+
Does anyone know why it just sticks at the connection screen after it says i successfully connected to the shareware server......?????
I dont know why exactly.
Ive set up a hundred networks wireless and otherwise.
But for some reason.
I cant connect to server.
Look I know this sounds stupid.
But can somone give me a run down of the processes I need to go through to get this thing going online?
A little background*

@ ShadowProphet
hey dude,
your network connections under the main psp setup... are they with a set IP / DNS number or with auto IP?
For some reason i can only get the homebrew wifi running if i put it on auto-ip.... not sure why, but it works for me.
as a result i have two settings; "Home" (defined ip) & "Auto" (auto ip) - it gets a bit annoying that quake defaults to my Home connection, but under the mutliplayer settings you can change this.
---- more help for anyone ----
a little low-down or starting out the game, (since i havent seen this on here, and it might help some people out) because i've seen a lot of people get confused over the multi/single player issues (not saying you need this help ShadowProph' - i'm just trying to help some peeps out)
1) load quake
2) goto Multiplayer; Setup; Access Point; "Auto" or similar (use left/right)
3) Circle (back to multiplayer menu), Switch Infrastructure On (wifi LED should go green)
4) Circle (back to main Menu) and goto Single Player mode and start a new game
5) hit select until you get to your Server menu, select pspquake server (square usually) and hopefully it will connect!
6) Get pwned by Hungry_Horace online... hehe :D
hope to see you online soon ShadowP'. ;)
probably because you downloaded Quake 2 and this eboot is for Quake 1.Quote:

im a 2.5 psp user i i cant get it to work it says corroupt data when ill try to run it :S
You can't run it using the PSP system menu on your firmware. You need to use Fanjita's GTA exploit on firmware newer than v2.00.
ohh where do i get that ??
http://www.fanjita.org
Please read the instructions.
am i right or do i need GTA liberti city stories to run all the Homebrews ???
afaik theres also some tiff-pic-method.
but i dont have a clue if this is working with 2.5
edit: wont work with 2.5. get gta :/
dran hmm i got v 2.6 now... will it work there ???
i dont got money for gta this month :P
It will work on 2.6 (that's what I use), but you will need GTA.
Works on 1.50 as homebrew.
Works on 2.00 with TIFF eloader -- www.fanjita.org
Works on 2.01, 2.5 & 2.6 with GTA eloader -- www.fanjita.org
