the files of the bios go inside the zip of the roms
have as soon as that this emu for the time being does not work with roms but large that 7 or 8 megas, itself this working in this aspect
the pad analogic not work, by problems in the directions,it is expected that work in the following one release,
and itself this working to improve the compatibility and that work in 2. xx

dudes!! this doesnt work on my psp 2.01 :-(. It doesnt even boot up. Im using the bock loader. And when i click on it to run it doenst do nothing and goes back to the bock screen. Im only using mame roms? am i missing any folders, files? thanks

damn,I couldn't get it to work on 2.50!even for the 2.50 release (says I don't have any roms and justs takes me to a blue screen when I put them in the MP_ROOT)

I've notice on some games that loads up the first time work, but the second time arround they either dont work or even show up on the list just reboot your psp

nothing is supposred to go in the MP_ROOT folder except your MP4 files.....
Root means in your memstick but not in any folder

How do i put the neo geo bios into the neo geo games to play them?

Asteroids works, but without sound.
Arkanoid says "Bad Hardware".
Aero Fighters loads prefectly, with sound. We need an option to rotate the display for "Long" games.
Alex Kidd has messed up graphics, hard to tell if the controls work or not, but you can put in quarters.
Arkanoid 2 works prefect but slow.
Dig Dug works prefectly.
Dig Dug 2 works prefectly.
Centipede works perfectly.
Frogger works prefectly.
Golden Axe works prefectly.
Gradius works prefectly.
Gravitar works prefectly. (And is *REALLY* hard!)
Mr.Do works prefectly, I think. (never played it before)
Ms.Pacman appears to work prefectly, but the level has an invisable wall and numbers all over it.
Pacman, same error as Ms.Pacman, messed up game level.
Star Trek loads up, but no sound. Also the controls stop working after 5 seconds.
Star Wars loads up and runs prefectly, for about 20 seconds, then it locks up the whole PSP.
Super Xevious won't load.
Super Zaxxon freezes on display test (screen full of "0")
Tempest works prefectly.
Rampage gets trapped in video tests, won't load.
Joust stops at "Factory Settings Restored" and won't continue.
Joust 2 won't even show up on the list of games!
Return of the Jedi works perfectly. (aweful game)
We *REALLY* need Analog Stick support, just like the Joysticks in the arcades. Using the Directional pad feels all wrong.
BTW, these were all Zipped ROM's, just in case that's important. I assume all ROM's are zipped.

Has anyone tested Bubble Bobble or any Nintendo games like Donkey Kong?
I have been testing this Mame last night, it seems that most of the games I have put on the MS do not even show up, many of those that do then fail to run!
I don't know if it has been said elsewhere, but you will need to 'merge' some ROMs -unzip sets and re-zip one with necessary files- to get them to run (Golden Axe and Starwars will only work for me this way).
Still needs a good speed optimization and screen format sort-out, but coming along well!
What I got working -

I,Robot (goes into test, can't get to go into game, seem to remember on PC you needed a keypress to do this?),

On the previous beta 2 version Shinobi worked fine (although the sound wasnt 100% spot on)... so i'll be gutted if it doesnt work on this new release?

So that's it, though I'm sure I could get 3 times that list if I tested all the games. My opinion, even on its current state, this is already one of the best emulators for PSP by far. So many awesome games are playable with good sound and reasonable size for the screen, it's simply awesome.
Things to fix are obvious, still no full screen, though now it's not missed so much, there are some sound problems around, either lagging or non-existent in some games, and there are many games either don't work or simply don't show on the rom list. There are lots of memory problems on games with big size, and some games have graphical errors.
Still as it is, it way better than any other MAME attempt, and will stay on my memory card for a long time, really cann only say thanks thanks thanks, I'll go donate something for this since this is going to give me hours of retro entertainment.
PD: I have a 4gb memory stick, and you can check them out on ebay by searching for "4gb memory stick psp", with so many games playable for MAME you're going to need it ;)
Thats quite an impressive list of working games. What firmware are you using Aleborri?
Robocop, POW, Pacland, final fight... I sooooooooooo need these games to work on 2.6!
