Working Downgrader for 2.5 and 2.6 PSPs Released (V5 Beta)

ha, i practically never went to dcemu ever since i updated my psp. it works and im really happy. from 1.5 > 2.0 > 2.01 > 2.5 > 1.5

I had 2.01 so i updated to 2.5
ran at 222mhz with ac adapter.
sony gets screwed again. hahahaha :D

can sum1 answer me plz!!!!

wats da 1.5 dump and where can i get it
and also it was sayin bout a folder in the DOWNDATETEST make another folder called PRX and put the 1.5 update .prx file wat is that and where can i get it???

1 more thing wen i downgrade to a 1.5 can i still play games that are higher than 1.5 like liberty city???

the 1.5 firmware will not allow you to play games that require a higher firmware then 1.5. But with devhook (firmware emulation ) you can play those games on emulated firmware ;) they run prefectly. plus you get great feature such as the offical sony web browser and location free player too.
1,5 truely is the best firmware of all. firmware emulation is only possible on this firmware ;)

yes you can with devhook umd version

there is another way but i canot tell you here in dcemu

yes just use devhook that that guy shamelessly plugged before. google it.

you don't need to do nothing on prx folder, just copy the dump.
for newer umd you need devhook, you'll find the link in main page

The "dump" is the 1.50 EBOOT.PBP right?
What about the other files, *.PRX and *.BIN, where can I get those? I really don't want to mess up my PSP ;)

What is withe German PSPs ? (modell PSP-1004)
when i open the UMD slot i can´t see in the right coner a nummber!

the dump IS NOT the eboot; i found 2 dir flush0 and flush1, with that the downgrade works

please gimme link for firmware dump for a german 2.6 psp (b lack)

i got mine at psp-hacks, but i have a US psp so i don't know if it makes a difference or not, anyone know???

Ok thanks for that. i got the dump from there but i cant find the prx files.

It says "Copy the DOWNDATER FOLDER", but what downdater folder!? Where is it, it certainly isn't in the zip file. The inputfl and outputfl files aren't anywhere in sight either...

Well i got the jap dump (since my psp is jap) but i still cant find the other files mentioned :o

please gemmie an answer. i have downloadded the files from psp hacks (form the headpage) bute i still doesnt know if i can use it. i have german psp. are there any differences?

I dont know wether my psp is ta-82, i open my umd drive and there is nothing written in the corner at all, but about 1cm away from the left hand side, and is not clearly visable at all, can someone help??

i think maybee sombody could write up an install wzard that but the files in the correct place like with eboot that would be a good help (just a thought)

still 50/50 over if i should do this or not i have evry faith in you guys just scared that i might mess it up lol

The names of the files don't match...I understand the folders thing but those .bin files I have no idea!!!

i had a 2.00 from christmas at 2.60

i used the 2.6 FREEPLAY zip
and the FREEPLAY downdater.zip
along with the ELOADER .97.ZIP
all on my memstick

WORKED LIKE A CHARM
booted up with an awesome Aphex Twin background.
