OK I have successfully downgraded another psp which was initiallay 2.01 with IC6001 motherboard.
From the feedback so far, I think it is safe to say that IC6001 can be downgraded with no problems.
I did however upgrade to 2.00 and then use the MPH downgrader to go back to 1.5 again, just to be sure, and it worked like a charm.
i have a IC6001
my cousin had IC6001 and i downgraded his (and it worked)
i had a factory 2.5 (never updated once) and downgraded fine :D
