Unless 3.0 allows unsigned code to be run (ie Homebrew) then Sony can shove it where the sun doesn't shine as far as I am concerned. No amount of gimmicks would make me want to surrender the ability to run my EMUs and brew. As if!
i want a cup holder for my beer
i want full Homebrew capiablility, but dont think its gonna happen..
anyways relastic terms would be:
PSX Emulator
PS1 games
i withdraw my all caps statement..... :(
Well i Hope they take as much time setting up security as they did with 1.5. LMAO
i want it to have the same encryption as 2.8, then i dont really care if the dont allow homebrew, Booster will devhook it, and all will be right with the world :P
Hahahaha, I am amused.Quote:

What do i want for PSP 3.0?
Full homebrew
Flash player 8
umd support for all versions
i want it to be devhookable
ps1 emulator
faster web browser
pony
GPRS capability
GMRS and FRS capability
a cupholder
solar charger
better speakers
support for SD cards
WMV movie support
fandango instant access
unbrickable psp
and more that i will post later
the only thing your missing man is using the memory stick for cache memory so that you can load any page in the web browser, bigger stick you have the better, and also flash player 8 support for the browser so that you can watch google video or youtube on your psp, add everything you listed with what i said and the psp will be perfect :DQuote:

Why ppl worried bout PS1 emu? There gonna make u pay for games uve already bought once. that im not lookin 4ward to (AC will give us a good PS1 emu neways) but if suprised only 1 person sed DIVX support, that be a good 1.......
i want another good hacker to come out with 3.0 like fanjita and Dark_Alex.
i don't really care wut 3.0 has to offer.. cause i'll never upgrade(cept if Dark_Alex makes a 3.0 SE like he did with 2.71) but i just hope that the power stone collection and GTA:VCS doesnt requre it.
Hmm. all recent games, including brand new ones like GUN have just 2.71 firmware and to build up stock of 100,000 - 1,000,000 or more units (GTA: VCS copies) to be prepared for launch, the game would have had to have been through a FINAL BUILD to implement the 2.81 prx's & update.Quote:

lLOL MY LIST?!?!?!
:p
if any of you seen my psp2 or whatever it was wishlist then youll know many of the familiar components that im going to add here:D
Homebrew option of course
more codecs for video playback(avi would be nice)
cell phone service capabilities(cmon psp should have this.... it would make it more sik than it is:) )
wireless file transfer( not jsut photos, like game saves, songs, other data ect.... and not juss between psp's, make it from psp to computer like ir shell does:cool: )
brodcast tv without location free( thats soo bad.... who the hell is gonna pay 100 buks juss to watch tv on ur psp?)
p.s and whateva emuking has.... too cool n saves typin space:p :D
well... thats all i can think of now.... maybe ill update da list:D
Let's see, what do I want for firmware 3.00... How about-
-a better flash player in the browser
-the ability to view streaming video from the internet (Google Video, YouTube, etc.)
-homebrew support (one can dream)
-increased support with more video and audio file types (.wmv, .avi, .wav, etc.)
-memory card caching, allowing larger sites to be viewable via the browser
-audio for the web browser (am I the only person with no audio for flash or am I just crazy?)
-an IM!!
-Email!!
-.rar and .zip archive support
-pie
-more demos of commercial games
-more pie
-FULL KERNEL support
sheesh why is everyone saying full homebrew upport? you know its not gonna happen. and you know you havent beaten sony at their own game so what makes you think theyre gonna give in?and as for the homebrew psone emu i dont think its gonna reach 100%. so im looking to get my hands on the psone emu for the psp and the videochat. and im curious to find out what the conectivity with the ps3 will be.
Sony would make a lot more money if they allowed homebrew and didn't allow pirating. What I really want is more personalization and more tools. a notepad, sketchpad, visuals in the MP3 player, music and pictures at once, more formats in video support, etc. That is what I would like to see in the future of the PSP.
Maybe add in a better browser (Screw Netscape 5, Firefox 2 babe!), the ability to send Music, Flash 8, Mem Cache, and add in the Black and White background themes((Like you can do with X-flash)).Quote:

Is anyone going to try and make 3.0 compatible with DevHook for us 1.5 users? I mean, 2.81 doesn't even work with DevHook. Will 1.5 people be forced to buy new PSPs exclusively for the updates just to enjoy them?
1.5ers are going to be so screwed when all of the new Q4 games start coming out, like Medal of Honor: Heroes, Vice City Stories and whatnot.
I hope Heroes will only require 2.71... Though that's so unlikely.
<font color=blue> HAAAAA!!!!!1!!!!

I don't care what's on 3.0, I just want Dark AleX to make a 3.0 SE (cause 2.71 SE is like having my cake and eating it too)
Just one on my wishlist,
I wish there was no more firmware updates.
well obviously homebrew support and just find a way to lock out iso's so it would be 50/50 and of course the ps1 emulator that doesn't charge for games i had and a better flash player ill repeat again a way better flash player and internet browser.
memory sticks bigger than 4gigs are already readable via v2.81
those people who put that into their wishlist ought to read more.
i wouldnt actually mind more combatability with other media (avi, mpeg)
-Java support on the I-Net Browser
Full support for homebrew and I will update.
They should add new settings menus, giving the user the ability to select the clock speed. being able to set the clock to 333 makes webrowsing quicker, and makes flash pages smoother. underclocking would also be handy for those LONG bus runs and ure listening to mp3s and u need all the battery life u can squeez
i hope they alow listening to music whyle browsing other parts of the firmware.
i also want them to fix the stoopid "not enough memory" problem in the web browser, add memory stick caching, also they could include more settings within the web browser, e.g under the "Images" option instead of On and Off, they could include low quality, i have that function on my mobile fone and it saves ram.
they could also expand on the video player, add xvid/divx/avi as playable formats. im aware that those formats are heavy loads on the cpu, but recent homebrew apps have proven that its possible to get full screen divX video running at 30fps... if a programer who isnt getting paid, and is only coding on there free time can do it... im pretty sure sony can do it.
increaasing the volume would be a pretty gd idea to :/
the picture viewer does not alow gif images to move unless ure in the web browser, they need to fix that.
and my personal "request" lol adding a new brightnes setting that is super dim, each night wen i go to bed and im playing my psp in the dark, the psp burns a square hole in my eyes, would be awsome to be able to cut the brightnes even further
Big List :) lol, but it does show wat the psp is capible of as some of it has been done in modified/emulated firmware. Sony need to get there finger out there sphincter and give us the goods we paid for!! >_<
I hope sony sees this :( I wonder why file renaming and such wasn't added from earlier FW, I guess they are pretty careful for security bugs and exploits.Quote:

Homebrew support for the homebrew as of today will NEVER be added. Do not blame sony, blame the ones that download illegally shared games, if that crap didn't exist homebrew would be enabled from earlier FW.Quote:

wow, people like to dream, im a resalist, and would love to have inbuilt 'lua' or 'BASIC' support under the game menu
sony will never enable cpu customisation. ever
*i want it all, i wan it all, i wan it all.... and i want it now* sings DaRn at the top of his voice. :D
Would be funny if it came with a 2.81 downgrader :p
I want it to be devhooked
Full Speed Ps1 Emu With Free Downloadable Games!!!!!!!!!!
