IF GTA Adn Lumines was found to have exploits then what about other games. could it be possible to find a another game exploit to run homebrew if some was dum enough to upgrade. plus if there is more games that can exploit the psp then seal your lips and wait for Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core to come out so we have the pleasure of running homebrew when FF7CC is around

Yeah... This rules. Lumines is MUCH easier to get one's hands on than the old version of GTA:LCS. Just about any store that carries PSP stuff would have a copy.

The main obstacle to getting downgraders and HENs and the like to work in the first place is just running unsigned code. Honestly, this is a HUGE chunk of the battle already.Quote:

If this exploit is similar enough to the GTA:LCS exploit in how it works, then it could simply require a modification of existing downgraders to fit the new exploit.

Would downgrading from the game be as dangerous as other ways?
When you're playing with fire, there's always the possibility of getting burned. If there is a downgrader made, it will have the same risks as every other downgrader.
HOWEVER, downgrader writers have gotten much better at making safeguards to do what they can to prevent unfortunate circumstances.
I'd even go so far as to advise waiting for a downgrader from Team noobs or C+D or someone reputable like that before trying anything else. It's NOT worth the risk to jump on the first shmuck who says they've built a new downgrader.
I'd do the same.... i remember way back last year around this time or in may when the 2.5-2.6 downgrader came out and it bricked every psp it was ran on. Then it got modified (i think by D-A) and it worked(used it on my 1st psp... it survived)... this is why I wait at least 12 hrs before using ANY downgrader (unless approved by trusted devs) to see what other people say about it (or to watch unsuspecting noobs to brick their psps b/sc they couldnt wait ahahah... jks). Downgraders now-a-days have become more secure and stabler. I could even argue that they are even better than sony's official updates(in safety and security... i feel more secure running a noobz generic downgrader than a sony official updater=P). Secondly, SONY'd just do a 3.51 for a security patch, not a full version update. Think 2.80 -> 2.81.

I love how the Noobz team is so consistent. This is very great news soon all of those worried people who are waiting for a 3.30-3.50 downgrader will get it soon. Maybe this will shut up all the questions of when ill there be a new downgrader so I can play homebrew. If people give it some time, though it may take a few months you get what you want. Great job Noobz and keep up your great work and discovering exploits :thumbup:
Haha, Sony got owned AGAIN! This is great news for all 3.10-3.50 firmware users out there. Although I'm on 3.40OE I'm happy for these guys.
