GRINGITO DE MIELDA, ESCUCHA TU ROK DE MIELDA
a wigger is a white person that acts black. thers a lot in my school and it pisses me off cuz they arent being real.
i keep every thing real like everyone should
And how many of them: Do freestyles , Clashes, Instrumentals,
How many young and upcoming MC's have you got in America.
Wikipedia entry on grime: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grime
I love so much music from both I couldn't pick. Possibly US because it has the history but there's so much amazing stuff that's coming up from the UK now that excites me more than most current US hip-hop stuff that it's a difficult choice.
On one hand:
Common, Wu Tang, NWA, Pharcyde, Jurassic 5
On the other:
Dizzee Rascal, Kano, Sway, Roots Manuva, Wiley
Good choices
Wiley Vs Kano Battle from Lord Of The Mics: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dCZUSAvzVIs
I have the final say in this American Rappers OWN English PHAIL.
I must again point out Gift of Gab: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOLNObv5-1A
and Black Thought : (back in the day) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03ybqP7G6Po
(one of the roots signature medleys) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znMLSJWNQq4
Who caresa bout freestylin. Nas And Kanye are two of the most prolific MC's to date.
KanYe is my favourite at the mo, but I voted English because Dizzee wipes the floor with every rapper or MC out there.
There is seriously no contest when it comes to rapping. American rap it what it is. If you like english rap, then you do. But if you would put an american rapper and an English rapper in a ring, the americans would win.
And even though you say american rap lyrics is all bullshit talk these days, then so what? It sells doesnt it.
Nas, tupac, B.I.G, 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop dogg, r.kelly, rick ross, lil wayne, birdman, dj khaled, andre 3000, big boi, the game, young joc, young buck, akon, jay z, diddy the list will go on.
What about english rappers? name a few.
when was the last time i heard news about an english rapper or a concert or tour of english rappers comming to america (never in my life heard anything about it)
at least american rappers are doing it big time
not even canadian rappers :/
Not many canadian rappers. Mostly pop and rock bands.Quote:

english people must not know who lil wayne is cause he is the best rapper alive. so many freestyles and mix tapes, damm..
What is a rapper?
Ah joke, americans for me.
Lil wayne is the best rapper alive at the moment. No one stands a chance with him.Quote:

No. Lil' Wayne releases a lot opf music. it's good but not the greatest. So he is has alot. It's mainly Quantity over Quality. If you want quality listen to ALL NaS' cds. Except I Am, it sucked. Nas is considered one of the greatest God MCs. Especailly after his debut album Illmatic released in 94 and his album Stillmatic released in 01.
Illmatic - 1994
It Was Written - 1996
I Am (Bootlegged unfinished cd) - 1998
NaStradamus - 1999
Stillmatic - 2001
God's Son - 2002
The Lost Tapes - 2002
Street Disciple - 2004
Hip Hop is Dead - 2006
Untitled WIP - 2007
Every single one of them are good enough to listen to first song to last. (Except I Am... for obvious reasons.)
wat i dont like about nas is that he thinks hip hop is dead. rappers could talk about what ever they want and nas cant control that but he obviously thinks he can make this change because hes the "Hip hop God"
ill make sure to check out his cds, i only know a few songs by him
Oh dear.
If you want to get some decent ****ing uk rap, then i suggest one of the following sites:
www.lowliferecords.co.uk
www.suspectpackages.com
The DJ Louis Slipperz £10 bag series has pretty much all the big names on it, so try that. Or try the Fist of Jah mixtape by Dubbledge.
**** the streets and dizzy rascal.
Oh and by the way, uk garage/grime is not the same thing as uk hip hop.
Nuff said
Its all about old school. One of the greatest rappers of all time comes from England.
Slick Rick. La di da di....
Also Young MC. Bust a Move anyone?
Stereo MCs as well
Wait a moment, zeirs english rapper's(meaning from englend)? I had know idea and zomeone zend me a link?
Nah, Nas doesn't think it's dead. The album name was like that just to prove a point. If he really did think it's dead, he wouldn't be making another album.
and y wouldnt he make a new album? hes trying to save the music with his :/
Haha good point. But Nas isn't the only one trying to do that. Lupe, Common, and Kanye are all doing it too.
american rappers are more successful
ahh the real hip hop sound

i haven't heard much english rap/hip hop been following the rock scene over there though, but i bet its real good, and yeh i know theres ghettos everywhere but enough about that, the message is out everyone knows its rough out there its been said. I live in cali ive had homies killed, so i prefer positive messages in the community and underground is the only place you'd find it in, on the radio its all luv of the money and not of the people.
Check out some of these peoples myspaces, Versatai, JLR, Rara Avis (look those up exactly like that), Atmosphere, uh...and some others lol
Nah, he doesn't even thinking it's dead. He said that in an interview. Hip Hop is Dead means, if i remember, that it's changing and the golden era is dead.
