BTW, all this "additional prx files" nonesense is going to be gone in the next official release (thanks to Nieko's hints)

Hello!
I have searched this PRX files in my flash0 and I haven't found it. I have a fat psp with firmware 3.71
Before, I have my psp on 3.40 and the mapthis worked properly but now, without this prx files the mapthis don't recognise my GPS-290. Someone could upload the prx files in the flash0??? Thanks for your atention. Write me soon. Regards!!
Use the new Mapthis Holux. You don´t need the 2 files.
ich² means version 0.5.05 or higher, which indeed don't require you to extract PRX files anymore. You still do need the PSP-290/FW3.xx version, not the Generic/FW1.00 version. (The latter is for use with Holux devices on fat PSP.)
Is it normal that I don't have this files in my flash0??
That's not normal, every new firmware should have them. Map This! may also not work properly with PSP-290 if those two files (usbacc.prx and usbgps.prx) are not present in your firmware.
If that's the case, you should reconsider reinstalling your firmware.
Is it normal that it takes me about 20 minutes to get a lock and decent satellite tracking on my PSP?
I have psp290 , 3.71 m33-4, w/ v5.20
20 minutes is really long, but it does depend on your location and speed. It seems you get the quickest fix outside with plenty of visible sky while standing still. Moving faster or indoors will take longer, if you get a fix at all.
If all fails, you could buy an extension cable from PC Mobile, it works wonders :). I used to get fixes in 3-4 minutes (using PSP-290), that's now down to 30-40 seconds.
Yes, see http://www.pc-mobile.net/pspue1.htm.
