yeah nintendo thought it would be a total waste of money.

Anyway I was on a site looking for a copy of Mario and I saw two download sections A psone iso section and a PSX section I always thought they were exactly the same is there a difference i should know about?

Only difference between the psx and psone was the psx was bigger, grey and could use things like action replay wasn't it?

Its the same thing.... the ps1 was originally called the psx (think about it, did we know there was going to be a ps2 back then?)

actually the PSX was a media centre PS2 with a hard drive and some other stuff, japan only- failed

But b4 that failure, every1 refered to the PS1 as the psx, i even have old mags saying psx games- Final Fantasy 8...

Yes, everyone refered to the PS1 later as PSX because of the magazine with the same name.
