Im confused on the Marathon/Halo mythology...Thats one reason I would like to play the Marathom games...all I know is the main characters look the same and the games have very sinilar themes....

True. But halo /was/ going to be Marathon 4. THen Bungie scubed it because at that time no one knew what marathon was (damn Windows users).

I remember the dark hallways were mentioned in every MacAddict magazine!
