2.81 downgrader or brick

I say, re-sell it to gamestop, and try to find an old one. My friend found a 2.00 at gamestop once, (two months ago). It was a used one behind the counter! :)

Ahhh, now I get his point :P For some reason, the wires in my brain crossed and I thought the 2.81 was a brick >.<

That could be a good alternative, if you find someone who will swap you a brick :P

lol, my friend got a ta-082 psp and wanted a reason to return it, so i took his and mine apart, swapped screens(mine a a big chunk of lint so the was a C shapped whiteness) so i got a brand new screen, and he could get a return, then we went to eb and got a used one for him, apparently someone had bought it, and sold it to them the next day(why he didn't just return it i don't know) but yea that's all good

I presume you have a 2.81 all i can say is why update to it then want it hacked because it will be a long time before it does
