Anyone noticed any better compatibility for pops? Does FF8 work better?
And how are these new features
- Direct launching of homebrews and demonstrations
- Direct launching of PS1 images
- Ability to alter the CPU speed of the PSP
- Recovery mode
- Multi-region
those features have only been in DAX's FW's, but DAX didnt make this, so they are infact new features on top 3.51 m33, as it hasn't been released before, even if it is based on the OE's
RUSSIAN HACKERS FTW !!
It's best they refer to themselves as russian hackers to avoid any $ony attention.
I'm not gonna upgrade until I see some more people that have tried the firmware because my PSP is brand new @ 3.40 OE A but i'm sure it's a solid release.
Homebrew on the PSP is a long way away from dead.
it seems like writing all the filez takes a lot of time, like before installing, but hellz yah, gonna try it out:P
The news of the week, or even month, if you ask me. It's great that someone finally picked up the thread and created the custom firmware we've been waiting for. Amazing work! :)
well, it looks good and any atempt at creating new, good custom firmwareis fine by me.
Although I doubt DAX gave his source away, I just think you will find they reverse engineered his fw and followed in his footsteps.
Nice work Team M33 Russians :):):)
This is very interesting news indeed. Hopefully we'll be seeing more from this M33 group; wouldn't mind a more complete custom firmware. Good job.
about customizing, is that a possible thing to do:P?
