BTW, you can add sound alert(s) to your speedtraps..
just create an mp3 file: messageXXX.mp3 (XXX is some number) and drope it to system/sounds
After that just add that number as last field in the POI definition line

55.41053,13.16719,K:108N10,90 KMH,XXX,
......
Of course you can have different sound alerts for each camera, if you wish to :-)

If its possible its very easy for me to insert the funktion in file
its more work for me to put it in the end

Fist test today "A foggy day on Huddigngevägen" with my PSP-290 went fine, the PSP marked up info on the screen as i passed by the Speedcameras about 100 meters before passing it, just as my picture i posted before did.
Now to the more nifty thing to add a .mp3 that alerts when closing in on that Speedcam Poi :)
And Lasercontrols would be cool to :)
I can se a bright future with diffrent sounds for Cameras, Lasers and tollcameras :)
Hi guys, can't get it to work. Don't hear a thing. What to do? I have a speedcam file name: ovl 0003 (originally tomtom OV2 but converted with GMDL)

message090, added to SOUNDS, opened POIedit and changed the file to 50.86992,3.60739,ovl0003,90 KMH,090. Hope it make some sense. What did I do wrong? Or can you only listen to the message when GPS mode is on (don't have a reciever yet but I ordered one from Yes Asia). One more question, what does the K:108 mean?
Example: 55.38781,13.15191,K:108S16,70 KMH,
K=Kamera (swedish word for Camera)
108=Roadnumber
S=South
16=number to avoid several cameras from having the same name
Someone have new format icons for speedcameras (now are vertical instead horizontal).
Me happens too. Have message051.mp3,...,message058.mp3 and poi file with speedcams with 51..58 sound numbers asigned, but when i test on mapthis no sound is played when i go to speedcam poi.Quote:
