Hmm this is going to be hard with the new build I suppose all the old tests on the older build need to be retested :(. I'll update the layout a bit so that the test must have a version number beside it in order to see whats updated and not.

I was able to go through the menus, but the textures and even font was missing so it was tough but i managed to start a game, but once it loaded the level it froze up. But it was so close to working! :D

Tsumi to Batsu - Chikyuu no Keishousha (J) [!] (AKA Sin and the punishment of earth) (33meg!) - I was amazed that this even booted. All the gfx are messed up in a druggy trippy way except the main character.
Wave Racer (US) - Works but its the same case as with Sin and the punishment of earth with pink/purple trippy messed up 3d gfx
Mario Kart 64 - goes ingame and crashes - malkster
Super Mario 64 ------- Loads game, at about 2 fps faster than in R2, textures in most levels are now purple and black, except outside and inside castle.--------Infernux
* Paper Mario -------------------got through the intro and got to the title screen, but when I enter my name, and try to start, it says "Should be servicing pending interrupts here : 04 08?" and it goes down the screen and never stops, have to reset PSP-----------------Shilo on version R3
Hey guys, I figured someone ought to update the Daedalus configuration file so it actually reflects what works and what doesn't. I had to take some educated guesses, but this should mostly reflect the results that everyone has gotten here.
To install this file, rename it "daedalus.ini", then copy to "/PSP/GAME/daedalus". Make sure you overwrite the old file!

Chameleon Twist 2-------Loads, but screen is flickery and can't see anything. FPS goes from 4 to 293, not kidding, but it freezes on screenshot------Infernux
Super Mario 64---It's fantastic, running low on the fps, but we all can't expect everything to run perfectly on the first release. My FW is 2.6, and I have no problem at running this game. I've played through the first 5 levels of the Bomb-omb Land. Though my textures are just purple and black dotted lines.---Damian666
Majoras Mask -doesnt even load at all, it doesnt crash or anything, just stays at the jumping to game boot adress.
Ocarina of Time- Loads the N64 title screen, then crashes.
Mario Party 1- flashes a purple bar on the bottom of the screen and then at a whopping 11.3 fps it plays the upper half of the intro video and quickly flashes the words that go along with the video at the bottom at the bottom. But if you press start it crashes the psp.
NES games converted for the N64---------none load up------------antibob72

With the new R3, I was able to get a different result for Super Smash Borthers and Mario Kart 64:
Super Smash Brothers-----no in game, only menus
Mario Kart----some in game, but not playable (when I hit someone not too long after the race began, the PSP crashed)
The others I tried seemed to have no difference from what's already posted:
Goldeneye had menus but no in game (crashed when I tried to play the 1st mission)
Super Mario 64 works (slowly, but that's a given)
Didn't StrmnNrmn say that the freezing on screen shot thing was fixed?

Okay, remember, I'm using the R3 build for all of these. It seems to delete all the textures, and the last build didn't.
Diddy kong racing------ giving me the exact same errors and messages as Kirby did. Loads to a pink square after the nintendo logo and no further. And it gives me wierd error messages.-------antibob72
F-Zero X------- Loads rom after the pink text scrolls all up and down the screen, gets through all the menu's at about 13 fps, but crashes when game gets to "game" part--------Infernux

i have mario and 2.6 but it only loads to the save file start screen then turns white what do i do? its zipped and ive tried it unzipped too wonder whats different?

I had a problem after trying the Bust-a-move rom where my memory stick acts like its full. I deleted several things off of the stick with no changes to its memory storage.
Anybody else have this problem?

Note to testers-
Some Roms take a looong time to start, be patient. Just because nothing happens for 5 minutes doesn't mean it has crashed. (If the power light goes off, it HAS crashed!)
Sometimes if you are stuck on a blank screen, it may be waiting for keypress.
Some games crash randomly, so you might get as far as the intro screen first time, and you might get as far as in-game play on second try.
Here's what I've tested
64 trummp collection - Alice no wakuwaku Trump World --- Some pink horizontal bars show and freezes --- enekomh on version [h1c]
Ohzumo 64 - 2 ---- intro, start pressing and then freezes. Textures missing. 10 fps the highest. --- enekomh
Ohzumo 64 --- intro, start pressing and then freezes. Textures missing. 10 fps the highest. --- enekomh on version [b3]
Aerofighters Assault (E) (M3) --- Intro with horrible graphics. Loading characters blink in the background.--- enekomh on version (M3) [o1]

Doraemon - Mittsu no Seireiseki (J) [t1] --- Strange chars on rom selection menu. Not loading
Doraemon 2 - Hikari no Shinden (J) [t1] --- Strange chars on rom selection menu. When jumping to Game Boot address it says just below it "Sleeping!" and freezes.
Doraemon 3 - Nobi Dai no Machi SOS! (J) [f1] (PAL-NTSC) --- Strange chars on rom selection menu. When jumping to Game Boot address it says just below it "Sleeping!" and freezes.
More roms to be tested soon. (Hope I get one playable).
how can i convert z64 roms to v64 coz on my pc cos it takes years for the emu to convert the z64 files on psp
Mario Tennis----------You will get a bunch (I think I counted 8) pink and black screens, but if you keep pressing X and Start you will eventually get to the title screen. I got all the way to where I was choosing my opponets character before it froze.----------Cooe14
LOL Why does everyone ask that plus this is not even the right form to ask that but you just need to name the ending to .v64 exactly but with the update "R3" u can have them named .v64 or .z64 it does not matter. Hope i help ya.Quote:

just discovered this so im letting you all know, the textures on the second level (door that requires at least one star) show up on version R3.
They do :eek: wounder if any of the other worlds are in good working order............
