Brain Age - Train your brain in minutes a day! (U) - Loads
thanx for testing guys, ill update first thing tomorrow morning :)
Simple DS Series Vol.18: The Soukou Kihei Gun Ground (J) - loads
Its a nice old school 2d scroller that will probably be one of the potential playable games att acceptable speed in the future since it doesn't make use of all the DS bells and whistles http://www.d3p.co.jp/s_ds/s_ds_018.html
thanks for the info man...more titles needs to be tested
do u think its really worth testing now.. most of the good games were tested and the emulator is never gona be updated unfortunately..
how smooth does the games play? does it play better or worse than daedelus? is it as smooth as snes9x or gpsp
1-3fps.. thats slow as hell
i guess its not worth it yet... :(
i am surprised it even loads!!! thats a relef. spelling... :( but it is just work in progress.
us ds lite users should have a psp emu who cares how slow i is we should have one and we should aslo have a n64 emu but anyways back on topic 64bit roms fast my friend tried it the 64bit rom was almost full speed

do u guys know when we can play pokemon diamond on it?
i just want to shove it in my friends face to prove psp is better thand ds.
nice list.
hope more games can be added!!!!
oh man i just played this emu on my psp and omg this bullcrap is worthless
thank god there is a sega cd emu to make me happy
Got a link to the emulator?
Although I don't condone forum members calling each othr idiots, I have to admit he does make a very good point.
If you take a look at emulation in general some pretty amazing (and seemingly) impossible things have happened. Its not just PSP emulation either.
To the people who says stuff like 'DS emulation will never be possible on the PSP' well lots of people said the same about FFX never being able to run full speed on an emulator around the first release of PCSX2 and what happened next?
The point I'm trying to make is don't always assume that because the author/s of the emulator say it ain't possible it will never happen. Trust me I've heard it lots of times and seen the results afterwards.
does this use hardware emulation or soft?
It uses a software renderer and SDL instead of direct videoGL. The PSP doesn't have 2D accelerating hardware like the DS, no tile mode to speed things up, so it has emulate the 2D hardware entirely in software. The 3D hardware could probably be used for something but at the moment even 2D games are extremely slow and disabling the draw function completely only speeds it up a few FPS (that's with no video output, it's still being calculated though). The emulator was just a quick port and hasn't been optimized for the PSP.
Um...I about to buy a psp, so just a question...
does diamond/pearl run smoothly on the psp?
Oh forget that sry...
SO my next question is why is the game on the list if it cant load?
It's red to show that it doesn't load, so you don't waste your time testing it. Nothing runs smoothly and Diamond/Pearl don't even load.
If there ever is DS emulation on the PSP it will owe little or more likely nothing to this.
A quick port of an early-stages PC emulator to the PSP really means nothing.
Its actually writing the emulator and/or optimising and debugging the thing for a new platform that is so difficult and time consuming.
Please don't think of this as comparable to most emulators for the PSP as it will give you a bad impression of the homebrew scene.
There are many high quality emulators with authors who really put huge amounts of effort into them.
GPsp, Picodrive, PSP2600 and many many others are all brilliant emulators of their respective systems.
Deadalus is still a work in progress but even so it still shows a huge amount of work and cannot be compared to a quick port like this.
This emu was a 'test', not a real project.
anyone care to explain how to install this thing please?
Game and Watch Collection Loads..;)
IM VERY CONFUSED. where do i download these games and how do i put them on my psp. i already have the emulator, can somebody help
Don't bother. The emulator is way too slow to play any games.
Castlevania dawn of souls work as well but the new Castlevania that is out only louds the intro and thats it
Will there be a working ds emu anytime soon.
It's highly unlikely.
Well It could work since NDS has very bad HW
Does Pokemon Platinum load?
I really only downloaded the emulator to play Pokemon games lol
No and nothing runs at a even a 1/5 of fullspeed. Give up until someone skilled gets around to updating it.
kk
i tried loading and its been half an hour and it wont load lol
Wonder when someone is going to try improve the emulator?
It's called a "proof of concept." It wasn't MEANT to be playable. It wasn't made to be useful. It was simply made to say "hey guys look at this cool thing" and nothing else. Don't count on anyone updating it to the point of usability.
This is a compatibility list for the DeSmuME Emulator correct? If so, Final Fantasy III does not load. Is there something that must be changed in options to do so?
I get the famous Unable to Access Back-up Memory.
how do you download it
This is just for the PSP version of DeSmuME. The topic should be renamed to say that but it is in the PSP section.
You can download DeSmuME PSP from this thread but I wouldn't bother, it's too slow to play any games and the compatibility is low.
nice
:p
I tried Digimon World Dawn and it worked.
