Actually there is sort of. Games Maker and Games Factory are drop and drag objects. All the developer needs to do is add rules/scripts. The main problem is that it can be very limiting so larger games are REALLY hard to do.

i can also design/create backgrounds and objects for the game if you want.

I have made some for a few of my own before

Oh yeah, there's always that.... I tried using Game Maker for my CastleVania game before, and yes, after working with it for two whole months, I got to the point where I couldn't get the level of gaming that I wanted for it.

I still have the key if anybody want to make Cute little PC games on that program. Just PM me.

BTW Yaustar....I've always wondered, Who's sprite dat is? in your avatar...I can't seem to place the name or the game....An 8 bit War Machine torso, perhaps? Or maybe an UAF floating head? Which is it?

I still agree with you that a lot of people get the wrong impression what game development really consists of. The most common misconception is that a games programmer also designs the game which very rarely happens.

Edit: None of the above. Its my own personal sprite :)
