I thought about that too, but I guess Gun never mentioned it, so I just went along with it...
The proyectile's charge can be part of Sora's sprites, but then, when the projectile/fireballs are flying thorugh the air...that should be an individual sprite....or I guess you could do the blast and fly sprite animations all together....
...It's really up to how Gun wants to implement it, I guess....There I go again guessing to much.

OK Gun....SO...This time, I'll send you the Fire Attack sprites as usual, but I'll put the complete proyectile animation in a separate folder...That way, you can go ahead an manipulate the sprites any way you like, and you won't have to ask/bug me for them again...lol just messing with ya...
alright so what we have so far is
soras movements are now complete
in-game crashes seem to be fixed
background is done(we can change it if nessassary)
script has been revised and checked for errors
ok so thats what we have done so far
now for the hard part since all is done this is what i want done before 0.2 is released
add ONLY ONE ENEMIE AT THIS POINT
have sum cheessy combat(sumthin easy right now)
raise collision just a bit(maybe if needed)
this is what i hope to get done but i still have nobody for the combat and a.i so im stuck at the moment looking for sum one to do this as i still dont know if yaustar is up for this:p :D
o yea apokelipz can you put the fire attack sprites allong with the left side fire attacks to

Dont even add enemies yet.. it is still far too early.. We need to get the collision detection in and the character animations fixed. Even the one we have for the platforms is buggy.
lol..........and just as i thought we were ready to add enemies:( :)
yes i agree lets fix up the character animation but yaustar your gonna have to help me with the collision as you already know that im still new and your my supreme over lord master of lua coding:D so there we are we have things we have to get done so maybe by the end of today yaustar you think we can have these things done:confused:

I am still extremely busy with my Master's project at the moment. Animation and the level collision should be the first priority at the moment. This includes dettaching the projectiles off the the curent frames. Also need to fix any "walk off the screen" crashes ( include jumping off the top of the screen).
The design brief is needed as well. This is a big game, developing with no FIXED direction is very dangerous. Example, health, damage, types of enemies, size of levels etc. This is the reason why every does pong and snake first.
As said earlier, I am here for direction and bug fixing, I am not a main coder.
Collision detection will be done by "box collision"
Each objects has a collision box and you just check two objects collision boxes and checks if it overlaps
A box can be define by the width and height.
Check if the boxes overlap, if they do, there is a collision.
Edit: Also remember G', this is *your* project, you still free to add/remove/change any feature as you see fit. Everything I say is based on my (limited) experience being in and seeing projects go right and wrong.
Edit2: I have said this before but this should be your lua resource. The LuaPlayer Wiki only goes through the special functions used for the PSP.
Hey, guess what? A little extra work never hurt nobody, so I fixed the Ice attack as well.
In the effects folder are the Projectiles sprites on their own...Again, check the names & all that gibberish for script purposes...you can change the names to your liking, Gun...It won't affect the pics.
I left you a note on how to handle the effect sprites animation in the Effects folder.
Let me know if anything needs fixing.
