The first game I ever beat was MegaMan 2, about five years before I somehow lost the box (or boxes to many of my NES titles).

bloody hell , need to get my thinking cap on.
The Game was on the Acorn Electron 32 iirc and was a shares game, i soon sussed out how to beat it easily

Well that goes way back but yeah i'd have to say Super Mario Bros was the very first game i beat. It was the first system i got when i was a kid.

I got completely hooked on arcade Operation Wolf on holiday as a kid and spent a fortune trying to complete it, everytime i see those machines now i feel like throwing a brick through it for giving me my first taste of addiction and spoiling my holiday.
