what makes a bad font?
is there a size limit for files?
or are there other factors to look out for, such as missing characters?

There are fonts with missing characters, and some appear so big that there's no room
for some of the dialogue in the XMB menu.
These are not major issues. You can just replace them with another one.

However, the program that converts TTTF (True Type Fonts) to PGF fonts sometimes produces
complete duds that will brick a PSP if they were applied.
So if you find a PGF font somewhere, you should test it with a launcher to make sure
it works.

X-Flash is smart enought to detect your real firmware version even after using the spoofs.

Didn't think about that.....:D , that's very interesting, it detects your real FW, I just asked that because some people have said that they've used other methods for spoofing it, and it was not reversable.

So can the spoofer trick games that have a FW update on them like o, say 2.7?, I wanna play Daxter and the hand-held version of DBZ but both of those require higher FW than I'm remotely willing to go...so, will it trick that?

I don't think the fw spoofer will work with those games. You could try RunUMD, MPH's Game Loader, and others. If you don't already know, they are on the left column on the main dcemu psp website.

Damn....i've read the MPH Game Loader thread...and it appears that 2.6 games can't be loaded, and more than half of the 2.5 games can't either......will this work with Infected, and isn't there a shell that will run 2.00+ games?

and the sounds of introduction of psp, these sounds opening_plugin. rco are testead by my and they function perfect, but likewise if they are not sure first I recommend that they use the emulacion with mph fw loader and thus they can decide if he likes the sound before installing it. greetings and that enjoy it

Sry for bringing up a dead thread but that is one sick awsome font, I searched everywhere trying to find it. I would appreciate it if someone could upload the font compatible with X-Flash or at minimum tell me what the name of the font is. Because it simply amazes me how good that font and background work out. Please somebody help me out on this :O

Simple question? How can I change boot up sound? I figured out the font, that was EZ cos ive been working on a DH PC Tool to customise emulated firmware. Also, is there a way to customise the ICONS? also what file has the custom names for each category.. I noticed one is called CODES now, and I dont really like. Anyway to change to change boot up squigglies to something else I thought it was gameboot.pmf
