Best book you've ever read

Dostoevsky, is he really that good? Or will it just depress me? im feeling good enough emotionallay at the moment. Should I wait untill im down in the dumps?

Im reading a book called, "A a novel" by Andy Warhog
I read recently, "fear and loathing on the campaign trail 72'" by Hunter S. Thompson"
And another called, "Me Talk Pretty One Day" That was quite a charming book, a bit of light comic reading.
Oh, and another called, "The third Policeman" That was very good, very strange. It is by a man named Brian O'Flann.

Anyone who likes fantasy novels with a message, should read, "His Dark Matreials" by Phillip Pullman.

It's the best story I have ever read.

well it took me along time to figure out but if you are at ...a mutual understanding and acceptance with the world, then nothing can really depress you. think of it more as, a kind of enlightenment of existentialism and deep psychology. i believe such depression is only a product of our social conditioning to remove ourselves from such works and thought paths...

i suppose like most works of litrature of such strain that the reader will either agree or dissagree with the methodologies used [perhaps not consciously]and that will decide the outcome on the reader...

I understand, maybe ill give his stuff a look see. Cheers dude.

What is it about?

Ender's Game & Ender's Shadow - Orson Scott Card
The final part when Ender arrives at the Bugger home world was probably the most beautiful and emotional piece of writing I have ever read. Never did really get into the rest of the saga though.

To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Its reputation speaks for itself.

My favourite book to film adaption would have to be The LOTR Trilogy. Although had I known Fight Club was once a book there would have been some fierce competition. Fight club is among my top 3 films.
