.... yeah, the Gun/Sword was weird, but a common them in most of the games is mideval/sci-fi mix. Some had steam flying ships, and power armor, even in the 16-bit time, so guns are a "natural" aspect, and btw, Barret has a gun for an arm

... oh and the story of ff VII was reguritated from previous final fantasys

As for the Final Fantasy series It's like this (for me):
FF6>FF7>FF10>FF9>FF8
Grandia II (yay MILLENNIA!!) is close to FF7.

the same thing that happened to the chrono trigger remake team is going to happen to this team, man, i would absolutely love to play the remake of one of the best FF games in the series..

btw, the terra figure in the screenshots look kinda like something from Kameo or Beyond Good and Evil

That is great, i wanted to play a FF game on PSP since i bought it! Nyxojaele, whatever negative thing people say about your remake, just don't give a **** about it and keep on coding, i support you!

My FF Top 5:
Best 1- Final Fantasy 8
2- FF 6 (3 US)
3- FF X
4- FF 4 (2 US)
5- FF 1 (Nostalgy...)

I never liked FF7... And Phantasy Star is nowhere near as good as a FF game (in my opinion)

If i was to make a fully featured Square game remake, i would never post anything from home, family or friend, never give any personal info and always post from public places like school or internet cafés. That way Square could never find me!

I agree, FFVII was way overrated, its battle system sucked, and the whole materia thing took the game down to being more about getting AP then XP...

Also, just on another note, music to me is the basis for a good RPG.. And FFVII's music sucked.. where-as the Music from FFVIII was better, and music from FFIX was great! and FFX's music was good..

FFVIII had the junctioning system, that was a great way of doing a similar thing.. plus along with that, there was the card game, which was required on the first disc to get the best junctions from the start..
Plus, there was the ability to avoid all encounters throughout the intire game... and for anyone that has never played at level 9 all the way untill the 4th disc.. you have no idea how much more awesome FFVIII was then FFVII..

FFIX was also a very good game, good plot, very fictional, but didnt have a junctioning system or anything to physicly make your character better, just armor-weapon upgrades...

either way! I wait to see whta this will look like

nice one ff VI is one of the best games in series but i think that ffVII for PSP will be much more better u know 3D all that stuff well i think that square will do their version 'cause everyone is crazy about VII so... anyway i would like to play some other square games like Xenogears or Vagrant story on psp... well good luck
