What currently is the difference between jap, europe and usa versions?
UMD region lockout for UMD movies. Otherwise, they are basically the same thing. Well, I guess the Jap ones have a different default language.
Well, I ordered one. If it comes and it's 2.81.....I'm gonna KILL.
Has anyone confirmed that this is legit yet?
but the region lockout can be taken off using 3.03OE-b

I just got mine today, this is definitely legit. Just be careful not to freak out like me when you get it. For some reason when you press the screen brightness button, one of the settings is screen off (this was not an option on my previous psps). I thought the screen was broken, and I almost turned into the hulk.

If the screen doesn't work when you turn the thing on for the first time, just hit the screen brightness button and it'll work.
