Eloader 0.9.8 - Porter - No More Need for GTA With Eloader :)

i know this may have been answered in a previous post but im a bit busy and couldn't look through all of them :p so can you now use the downgrader for 2.6 using the libtiff exploit instead of gta

not sure but you could always just upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade.

So I currently using TA-82 2.6fw with GTA exploit and porter.
I'm a bit confused about the whole kernel mode, and I was wondering if someone could clarify this for me.

My friends got me LocoRoco, but it requires me to upgrade to 2.71. If i upgrade to 2.71 does that mean I won't be able to do kernel mode anymore for my PSP?

Also, once kernel mode becomes available for 2.6, does that mean I'll be able to use devhook and emulate higher firmware.

Devhook could possibly by used on 2.6 to emulate higher firmwares. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought the 2.71 eLoader had kernal mode too...
If I were you, I would just wait (don't update for a demo, that's what Sony wants...)

I actually have the full game, my friends got it for me....but yeah I think i'll wait.
I just feel bad because my friends keep asking me if I've played it yet, and I don't want to seem ungrateful.

the answer is no, not with devhook at any rate, due to the lack of kernel support of the eloader. they're still working on one that ahs kernel access.

i dun see why any1 under 2.5 won't downgrade...they have a non ta-082 mobo for sure

Only those versions that exploits have been found for kernel will have kernel...eventually. Do not forget that they still have to work on one for 2.70 and 2.71, those 2 firmware still can't experience homebrew. i suspect that maybe a user mode eloader may come out to include 2.70 and 2.71 first before proceeding for kernal mode. This is only my opinion, it may not be true

just wait for the ta82 2.6 downgrader that's what I'm doing.

Can someone help me out?
I have this already installed, with the EBOOT.PBP gba.bios & gpsp.cfg , as im trying to run that emulator (v.07)

the emulators shows up on the 'emenu' i click it, it says "we are all noobz" (which seems normal" but then it goes black with some text at the top just saying ' eloader v0.98 www.noobz.eu.."
then shuts off/

that emulator doesnt work via the libtiff exploit, if you want to run gpsp use the gta exploit or wait until another release

If u really want to use gpsp, u can run gpsp05 with the tiff loader, u can't play roms above 16mb though

i want to get this for my brother-in-law (2.6) but im not sure if i should bother... how many of you guys would give this a good review?? thanks for the help in advance.

Not sure if you should bother? It's eLoader, not a time-consuming waste of money or something.
Also, unless your brother has one of those TA-082 motherboards, there shouldn't be any risk in downgrading. He should downgrade right away, and forget all about eLoader. I only wish I didn't have a TA-082, then I'd be downgraded all kinds.
But always remember to check the inside of the UMD area for those numbers on the green part, signifying TA-082-ness. Also, you don't have to upgrade to 2.71 to downgrade, you can do it straight from 2.6.

yup use dark_alex's easy install downgrader for 2.6 its really user friendly and does most of the work for you.
Im most sure they have it here at DCEmu and if they don't just ask and ill pm it to you or email:D

can anyone tell me why my psp keeps shutting off???

not playing a big game, its like 3 megs...
any clue?
it loads fine until you load the game, thenit shuts off

and its the same ms.

Thnks for the release, I found out some emulator can't work or when it loaded the rom(black screen and it switch off). Example emulator like cps2psp, snes, neogeo, degen. Could you help? The previous GTA 097 does work. Thnks
