QUESTION! can I use this popstation program to change ISO's to EBOOTS for use on a 3.02 F/W PSP? or do I have to use the special firmware to play these games?

thanx Dpthcorenass8 for reply,
do you have any experience with emulated games on u'r cf drive?
had some interesting one's on mine
and i'm going togetmyself a 4GB MemSick pretty soon too... ;)
Only downside at all i have experienced is that there is no way to play background mp3s in the ps 1 emulator, but i hope that'll get fixed soon (Irsmp3 doesn't work in homebrew, i've tried it in the psone and apparently it works the same way homebrew does). And Irshell won't let it start from inside of it, but oh well.
Unless anyone knows of another way...?
aww my DGEN isnt working with this whats up with that???
edit: got that working but my killzone game wont work on mine, but it will on my friends which isnt custom firmware and there are a bunch of my homebrew games that show up as corrupted data
zomg
i <3 Dark Alex
I have a ceramic white PSP with FW1.5. However it also got the IC1003 marking in the top right of the disc tray. Got it in Hong Kong.
I dont know much about PSP's but I have heard that the 3.02 OE firmware doesnt work with unit that has a TA-082 motherboard, and that the IC1003 marking in the top right states that its got a TA-082 board.
But I also heard that the TA-082's cant run FW1.5 which mine clearly is. Should it be safe for me to upgrade to 3.02 OE-A (and then B) or am I bound to brick my PSP if I do?
Thankfull for help as I'm totaly new to this.
I heard some guys speculating about updates and fixind compatibility issues.
But: Can there be any updates that touches compatibility? I mean, the emulator is written by sony and not dark_alex, so even he can't do anything in this direction, or am i wrong?
I mean, there are some games with graphical errors and many people think that this can be fixed.
