Um no once its bricked your screwed but if you have warrenty on it there your good.

And if you read the warnings they all say this is risky and should not do it if you don't what your doin,

3rd and last If i use devhook can i play umd games that are 2.71?

Tried several times with my 512mb memory stick, but no success.

Tried with my original 32mb memory stick, it worked first time. My PSP is now 1.50

I'm guessing you gotta use the 32mb memory stick.

Currently considering getting the 3.02OE-B since it gives you the long awaited REGION FREE UMD and PSX EMULATION without a PS3. let me know if anyone's done that yet. Not that i didnt expect it to, just before (When 2.71 downgrader just came out) i bricked my psp :)

I dont get the red screen when i try to downgrade :( It only takes 10 seconds, then it restarts.
