so this is what i do:
1.unzip the RAR file
2.put the "DOWNDATER" folder in the root of my mem stick
3.put the DOWNDATERTEST folder in my GAME folder
4. run the program
is the "DOWNDATER" folder the same folder as if the person with 1.50 copied it?

Ok silly question, sorry if its been asked with in this thread.
I know most of my stuff when it comes to psp, I downgraded to 1.5 from 2.0.
My young ones got my old psp which was 2.5 from the box, yet its been upgraded to 2.6. So will this work seeing as its been upgraded to 2.6?, as I see on various forums that people are saying a 'factory set 2.5/2.6' wont work, which is what this started out as.
Too bad for me I've upgraded my psp to 2.71 and I'm stuck the bad thing that the downgraders doesn't come in time.
sucess i ran up the wall it worked i had used the auto installer with files already in it
