Either asking sony why homebrew wouldn't work on my psp, or intalling a theme without backing up.(Which eventually led to a brick.)

updated for video rss support, then to 2.81 cause i thought that security updates were to stop people hacking into my psp. (2 yrs ago)
I shamefully admit that I attempted, with my pathetic soldering skills and no appropriate vision aid, to install my own UP chip...
*BRICK!*
The noobiest thing I did was get a pink psp for my girl knowing that I wasn't going to be able to downgrade it. Had to use it for a week because she took mine, good thing the 3.03 downgrader came out a week later! and I had a GTA copy around!
Uh at first I didn't get how homebrew worked, or what it was at all. :P
Then I asked people and they kindly helped me. :)
noobiest thing I ever did was upgrade to 3.03 as soon as I got it home and plugged the charger in then 3.10 then 3.30 and now 3.40 waiting for downgrade
Nothing N00Bish really, im on 3.4, but i knew all the facts like not having homebrew.
a few friends thought UMD's came out of the white case, one actually broke it!

Lets see....well first i thought I had to update, because when i tried to run Smash GPSP, it had a corrupt error message. Then I thought downgrading was an easy run through no need to check process, and forgot to put in the 1.5 dump when I tried to downgrade my 2.6. But i told sony my psp just turned off when i was updating, so guess what? new free psp!
...i thought sony updates were cool.:(
But i'm better now.
