Alright as soon as that Genesis guide comes in the guide will be done. At least until the next exploit/hack comes around to blow the doors more open for PSP coders.
Righty, this looks as good as any place to start explaining my homebrew troubles, and questions.
First question: Ive heard that several people found the " .tif " file that goes into your photo folder to be a virus, i scanned it and found nothing, is this true?
Second Question: I have my psp tricked into thinking its v 1.00, but when I go to " Update ver 1.50, it says i dont have enough battery life ( I have two notches of life at the moment, and it worked when i updated it from 1.00 to 2.00 when i got it on xmas.
thats about it for now, thanks for any help
1. Do you have Norton as your virus-scanner? It seems that Norton seems to see the .tif extentsion as a very dangourous file. Since it is a file associated with hacking it isen't hard to understand why Norton may scan it as virus. Then again I could be wrong there. At any rate if you download the Eboot loader from Fanjitas site it should be fine as mine wroks fine and no one seems to be having any bricked PSP's from it. Fanjita's site can be found in third post on the first page of this thread.Quote:

The new guide will up tonight. I've had a lot of work to do and havent gotten around to re-formatting it for these forums. It is complete, and will be finalized tonight.
As far as the roms using snes9xtyl (latest release), the roms do not have to be uncompressed. They should stay zipped to save space. If you are browsing the proper folder, and can't see the ROMS, exit the emu, restart the psp, and relaunch the emu. That should take care of it. There arent any known bugs that compromise the ability of keeping the roms zipped.
Alright I'm eagerly awaiting your next guide :)Quote:

Since this thread is updated on a regular basis and stickied now your guide won't be lost to time. You don't need to post the guide in the this thread it self but if you have a decent FAQ or guide for some PSP homebrew utility or emulator just say the word and I'll set up a section and a link here.
Yes, for some reason once Im done doing everything I try and load the game. ANd it jsut goes to the PSP logo thing, then to a black screen then back to "home". SYaing "the game could not be started". I am used kxpolit if that makes any difference.
Well it should work, Are you sure your PSP is 1.5 and what program are you trying to load?Quote:

Not at this moment, but Fanjita is planning to release an eboot loader that takes advantage of the GTA: Liberty City Stories exploit.Quote:
