This firmware was criticized a lot and i don't really have an opinion on it. Has anyone tried this and if so would you please give the pros and cons?
Personally I'm reluctant to flash something from somebody that we're not yet familiar with. Dark Alex spent a lot of time making sure his firmwares didn't damage our PSPs - introducing the recovery mode for example. I think I'll wait a little while before flashing anything else.

Give those ppl a chance. I mean okay, I didn't even trust this Dark Alex guy after many ppl. said his OE Firmware is good. It took a while. But here are ppl. that tried it and still u talk in such a way? JUst stay away and be quiet or give it a try and judge it. But don't comment something u haven'T even tried. Damn hillbillies here ...
To Test30: Thank you for your work. I d/l'ed the file and I'll try it sometime when I have more spare time. Did u implement something like a hash check to verify that the files are correctly downloaded in order to guarantee a proper flash? I think that's essential. I trust u since some ppl. flashed w/o any problems. But I do NOT trust my own hard drive :) a lot of CRC errors once in a while ... :p
