Yes, but moderation is what creates the distinction between use and abuse.

Somehow for drugs, public perception has deemed the term abuse to be synonymous with use, which is simply incorrect.

Abuse can be defined as improper use or handling. Explain to me how using a chemical to get high without any legitimate reason isnt abuse?

Yeah yeah we all see how much you like using cryptic analogies to make yourself feel smarter than us. My point stands. Using chemicals or plants for reasons beyond medical should be, and are, defined as abuse.
