i dont think that he should give away his adress to obsessed fans
ha thats funny comment lol
i cant get over that
Well we obvestily are obsessed and want this to be Great
but dont rush him to donate its his dision as a coder when he wants to start or even start at all
Wow, Chickenclaws, your typing is chicken stratch. Anyways excellent work PSMONKEY. You are one of the few developers that keeps the community with daily updates. I really appreciate your hardwork and dedication. You are seriously going to be put into the history books for this achievement.
Also PSMONKEY, have you designed a GUI for this emulator? Just curious on how it'll come out. For example I really like the new SNES9X TYL .4 GUI, its simple and very well organized.
Hey. I have odd bug to solve. I am not sure why but for some reason I cant render triangles in 3d space (currently what you see is me converting them to 2d space). Its odd because I copied a snipet of code from the cube demo's and they also dont work. So once I track this bug down I should see some progress on the 3d front.
If you noticed on the quest shot, the scene looks funny. This is because the polygons are not being transformed properly and its putting the camera outside the box when it should be inside. Once I can fix this rendering issue things should be much better.
Also just a minor note but Quake 1 also runs in game now. It takes ungodly for ever to load but it does get in game. Yet due to the same transformation bug, nothing makese sense on screen.
Regarding donations. I want to set up a donation page but I dont feel right doing it untill I get something further along (maybe for 1.1 build). So please hold on to your donations in the mean time.
psmonkey are you having trouble with rasterization or is it not even incorporated with what you're doing?
If I have it pass cordinates directly to the rasterizer they show up. If I pass them off to be transformed and passed to the rasteriser I get nada.Quote:

toughy... thats one of the areas in coding i have "skillishness" knowledge and have messed around in at a friend who codes stuff's house
good job
do you ever think mario 64 will happen is it possible
wait, when u mean quake 1, do u mean quake 64? cause doom, quake and duke nukem are reasons i want the emu. so, those being lesser on the graphics scale, how long do u beleive until they are playable at 30fps?Quote:

The thing is though, we may not know when, but we know it will eventually:)
Great progress man, I really didn`t thought any coder would get this far, and if you manage to create a working n64 emu you`ll probably recive some well deserved donations =)
I`m just curious, in which language are u coding this, c++? I`m definately hoping on you, since N64 is my definate favorite consol -ever-.
And btw, its great that you are showing your progress.
If you get a major prob. describe it closely, and i might can help since a have some experienced coder friends. (If we`re talking about c++).
Again, thanks for your incredible effort!
edit: c++ dosnt work on psp :p I presume
I am compiling them as c++ objects but not useing classes or other advance methods of C++. Kind of doing so since I like being able to create stack varibles mid way though code vs always at the top. :PQuote:

Anyways if anybody notices, I am doing some spring cleaning. Not only on the forums but also in my code (finaly rewriting the main.c to clean up crap from nincest). Hopefuly with cleaning everything out I can fix the drawing issue (I think it has to do with my static varibles).
PS,
Yes I don't speak much french. I am still learning.
sorry about going a bit of topic.
PS: when do you think the next release will be available... thanks Cloud!
NOTE TO SELF: WE DO NOT ESTIMATE RELEASE DATES

is there actualy a way to fix the rom size problem?
i never had that game Teletubbies: If your 555 im 666. how good is that game? is it fun?
Great work PSmonkey! I remember when Nincest was started on the PSP....I can't believe how far this emulator has come (especially considering you've rewritten it all).
I look forward to your next release.
this mabey horribly off topic and asked 100 times but i really want to play IRIS 1.5!!!!
not a demand or anything...........
i just wanna mod it
like bullets instead of red blobs :)
the roms for n64 are surprisingly small (by my standards). I thought they were gonna be about 179MB, but they are only, at max, 35mb
yeah you would think they would be as big as psp games
Yes it rocks!!!Quote:
